"Synergy" Original Painting 24x30

I typically have an acrylic piece and an oil piece in progress at the same time. Those two mediums have begun to merge a bit as part of a new process I'm working through. You can use oils on top of acrylic, but not vice-versa. While each medium has its strengths, I like that acrylics are good for working fast and building texture, while oil provides superb blending and vibrant, almost luminescent, colors.

Synergy represents the blend of those mediums: a base of acrylic layers adding textures and base colors finished off with oils in white, greys, blues, and magenta. 

The piece is 24"w x 30"h (61x76cm), 1.5" (4cm) deep, oil on canvas. Signed lower right. Not ready to hang. Painting will be packed by artist and shipped free to customer.
