"Siena #2" Painting Canvas Print 24x30

In 2011 I had taken a picture of a street in Siena Italy and liked the photo so much I never felt the need to paint a version of it. That feeling changed over time and I took the subject on first with a smaller piece called Siena #1. Even before I finished that piece I was thinking of a much larger work.

This print is half the size of the original, which is 48x60". Siena #2 includes more detail than the first while at the same time letting the more abstract dominate in some areas. Like the original photo, this painting communicated the scale and contrast of light and dark of the original photo.

These canvas prints are limited to just 150 units.
