I've been in Florence in all sorts of weather and while everyone enjoys a beautiful sunny day (including me), a rainy day brings out a new side to the city. The crowds lessen and the gray skies cast a soft light to the landscape. While I've gotten some great color shots in this weather, the black and white photos stand out.

I captured this image from the Ponte alle Grazie, the wind stirring up the Arno to break up the reflections, as well as add surface tension.

Printed on master's edition museum-quality paper, off-white, uncoated, with 3" borders to properly frame the piece.
