"Luce #1" Original Acrylic Painting 18x24

I've had a photo in my archives for a number of years and came across it from time to time thinking it would make a great painting. I just came off an oil painting streak and thought I needed to get back into an acrylic piece and that photo turned up again. I started it and worked through a few iterations before thinking I would just switch over to oils. I was almost ready to do that when I took another stab at it and just turned off my brain so it would more naturally evolve. "Luce" (Italian for light) is the result - a rougher feel to it which seemed appropriate for the piece.

The piece is 18"w x 24"h (46x61cm), 1.5" (4cm) deep, acrylic on canvas, sides painted. Signed lower right. Not ready to hang. Painting will be packed by artist and shipped free to customer.
