Ice Road - Painting Canvas Print 24x36

My work continues to evolve as I've expanded into oils and realism, so it's a welcome change to return to an abstract expressionist piece that allows for a more freeform approach. As with most pieces of this style, this started with contrasting colors as a base, in this case earth tones and yellows, oranges. Subsequent layers of blues and yellow were built up, followed by light washes of white revealing textures and further expanding the palette.
