"Aldo Waiting" Original Oil Painting 8x10

One of the things I love about Italy is how people take the time to just sit outside and be. Some socialize while others just watch the world go by. Take any small market in a small town and there will most likely be a few old men sitting on a bench out front chatting with one another or those who pass by.

This painting was inspired by that and started with just a rough sketch. It was a painting that evolved over time, coming back to the easel every few months in between projects. It remains a favorite of mine and "Aldo" will likely appear in future pieces. 

This piece is 8"x10" (20x25cm), .75" deep, oil on cradled board. Signed lower right. Not ready to hang. Painting will be packed by artist and shipped free to customer.
