I just came off an oil painting streak and thought I needed to get back into an acrylic piece and that photo turned up again. I started it and worked through a few iterations before thinking I would just switch over to oils. I was almost ready to do that when I took another stab at it and just turned off my brain so it would more naturally evolve. \"Luce\" (Italian for light) is the result - a rougher feel to it which seemed appropriate for the piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe piece is 18\"w x 24\"h (46x61cm), 1.5\" (4cm) deep, acrylic on canvas, sides painted.
