After a few weeks, the piece was finished and remains one of my favorites. A friend is originally from New York and has a great love for the statue - the painting brought her to tears. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBecause of its size, it's expensive to ship so its market is somewhat limited. I work with potential buyers directly on the original, but many had asked me about a print - and maybe at a more manageable size. As the layers built up. so did the textures and blend of colors.
